Aromatherapy (50 or 80 minutes)

Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment which has emotional and physical effects on the body. Emotions can be effected through the sense of smell which is linked to the deepest parts of the brain governed by basic instincts, thoughts and emotions. On a physical level, essential oils help to ease muscular aches and pains, improve circulation, ease sinus congestion and stimulate digestion. At the beginning of a treatment different aromas will be presented, the oil which smells the most appealing is what the body needs at that time.

Traditional aromatherapy massage works on the nervous symptoms to relieve stress by helping to restore balance using specific eastern and western techniques combined with the power of essential oils.

I was fortunate to have been trained by Geraldine Howard and Sue Beechey, the founders of the world famous Aromatherapy Associates, and I have travelled to some of the world's top spas to train therapists in traditional aromatherapy massage.
