Geraldine McColgan

Professional Background

I qualified 25 years ago and my first job was in a 5* Spa where I received in-depth training from leading skincare and cosmetic brands.

Initially I whole heartedly believed in the products and happily recommended them as appropriate to my clients. Unfortunately, I became disillusioned with commercial brands, mainly because I suffered from acne (which they were unable to help) and this really affected my confidence.

This was the start of my holistic journey – I learnt to look at the body on a physical and emotional level to help to bring back homeostasis. I trained in many modalities including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Colonic Hydrotherapy and Reiki. I also trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I have a passion for learning and am currently working towards my Naturopathy diploma.

I have travelled the world visiting centres of excellence, practicing and training numerous alternative therapies, as well as supporting the wellbeing programmes of numerous spas worldwide including Sandy Lane in Barbados, La Residencia in Mallorca, Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London, La Residencia in Mallorca and Sha Wellness Macrobiotic Centre in Spain. I have also been a guest speaker at the natural and organic show, professional beauty and have been a guest on QVC.

My passion is to make you look and feel the best you can.

About Me

Being a single mum and running a busy practice enables me to fully understand the importance of having a good work/ life balance, and I make sure that I have enough time for both myself and a very energetic 4 year old boy.

I like to relax by having aromatherapy baths and travelling whenever I can, particularly to gorgeous country or seaside ecapes. I love to source and cook fresh organic food and one of my great pleasures is spending quality time out and about with my son.

I love to learn and aspire to constant professional and personal development. I attend as many training courses as I can fit in and love to create my own personal techniques and interpretations of what I have learned.
